Huawei teams up with Moovit as its Official Mobility Partner at Huawei’s new product launch this week

The two global brands continue to work together to make urban mobility more convenient and sustainable for spectators at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center

Vienna – October 2021

Huawei, is announcing that it has selected Moovit, an Intel company and creator of the #1 urban mobility app, as its Official Mobility Partner to help visitors conveniently arrive to the new HUAWEI nova series launch at Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center in Vienna this week.

Throughout Huawei’s event, attendees can easily reach the venue without needing a private car by using Moovit’s trip plan, real-time arrivals and live directions features. The collaboration will alleviate any worries that attendees may have about how to arrive or leave the venue, allowing them to travel with greater ease and convenience using Moovit’s accurate and reliable transit information.

By downloading the Moovit app on AppGallery, or by using Moovit’s Web App, participants can find all transport updates and consider any service changes to ensure they have the most direct route to the exhibition center, with two underground stations located a stone’s throw away from the venue’s main entrances. Moovit users will also receive notifications directly to their app if there are any changes to the route.

Huawei added Moovit to its AppGallery last year, allowing Huawei users everywhere to get from A to B more easily using public and shared transport. Moovit users can enjoy the ease of planning multimodal journeys with real-time information and updates, as well as mobile payments for public transport in participating regions – all from one app.

“Moovit is delighted to expand its partnership with Huawei to help simplify and improve urban mobility,” said Samuel Sed Piazza, Director of Partnerships at Moovit. “We understand that the visitor experience begins from the moment they leave their accomodation, and we can ensure that they will have a convenient experience using Moovit to travel to and from the venue, and not miss special Huawei highlights.”

“Our partners are the lifeblood of Huawei’s developing ecosystem and we always look for opportunities to innovate and support each other. We hope to continue to work together to bring more value and useful services to our customers as and when they need it most,” said Derek Yu, President of Central Eastern Europe, Nordic and Canada Region, Huawei Consumer Business Group.

More than 100 cities and global events, including Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympics, and the 2018 Euro league Finals have made Moovit their official transit app. Moovit is available in 45 languages, so even international users can get to the venue without any problems.
