Moovit, creator of the popular urban mobility app available in over 3,500 cities across 112 countries, is announcing today that Nir Bezalel will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Bezalel has been with the company since its inception, a little over 13 years ago. He has served as the VP of R&D, and CTO and was responsible for Business Strategy.

Nir Erez, the Co-Founder of Moovit and CEO for the last 13 years, will assume the role of President and strategic advisor to the CEO.

This will pave the way for new leadership to guide the company into its next era of growth.”

Over the last 25 years, Nir Bezalel has held several key roles in additional technology companies including VP of R&D at OptimalTest and Director of R&D at NOVA. Nir holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science as well as an MBA.
