Moovit Partners with Bridgify to Connect Transit Commuters with Local Events

New York, NY  – February 2025

In a first among public transit apps, Moovit and Bridgify partner to bring an extensive catalog of local and global events to transit riders, enhancing the way they experience their cities

Moovit, creator behind the #1 commuter app which has guided more than 1.5 billion users, is partnering with Bridgify, an AI-powered events discovery platform to transform the way commuters experience their cities. This collaboration will enable Moovit users to seamlessly discover and book tickets to local attractions and events, transforming their commutes into dynamic city experiences, a first-of-its-kind integration among public transit apps.

With the launch of Moovit’s new Attractions feature, powered by Bridgify’s extensive event catalog, riders in the US, Brazil, Italy, and Israel will have instant access to concerts, sporting events, tours, hyperlocal experiences and more—all through the Moovit app. Available on both iOS and Android, this new feature enables users to explore and book exciting activities and plan their transit routes there, making city travel more enjoyable and convenient.

Moovit users can simply tap on the Attraction Tickets option in the More menu to discover, filter, and book events in different cities. They can read detailed event descriptions, get a sense of the experience through images and verified reviews, and see key details such as pricing, availability, and venue info right at their fingertips. Moovit users can also save their favorite attractions or add them to their cart to come back to later.

In the near future, Moovit and Bridgify aim to enhance this integration with personalized event recommendations and exclusive offers based on users’ planned routes, ensuring that people never miss an exciting opportunity along their journey.

“With this partnership, Moovit continues to go beyond just helping people navigate public transit—we’re enriching the entire urban mobility experience,” said Ziv Kabaretti, Moovit’s VP Product. “By integrating Bridgify’s extensive inventory of attractions and events, we’re making travel not just more efficient, but more engaging, so commuters can better enjoy the cities they live in or visit.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Moovit, a global leader in mobility solutions, to enhance the way people discover and book experiences while on the move,” said Amit Shamni, Bridgify’s CEO and Co-founder. “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to make travel more seamless and enriching by integrating top-tier tours, activities, and events into everyday journeys. Together, we are redefining how travelers and commuters access unforgettable experiences effortlessly”.
