Published: November 12, 2018

Last week on 8 November, Huawei announced the expansion of its user-centric Mobile Services open platform and ecosystem by new strategic global and local partners, one of which was Moovit.

During a ceremony at the Huawei European Partner Convention 2018, Moovit signed an MOU to integrate its premium urban mobility features into Huawei’s premium features. Other top global companies such as Sony, Booking.com, Rentalcars.com, Rideways, Kayak, Qwant, Skyscanner and SQUID also signed MOUs in their field of expertise.

All partners will join Huawei’s evolving mobile ecosystem that focuses on user experience, fuels the development of new innovations and accelerates the digital economy.

Being an early pioneer in Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and having the world’s leading public transit app means that Moovit was chosen as the urban mobility partner and will enhance Huawei’s mobile user experience in a new and innovative way.

Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. With integrated solutions across four key domains – telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services – their aim is to ensure every person is fully connected to create and intelligent world.
