This time last week Country Manager for Latin America Juan Palacio was packing up the Moovit booth after a productive and engaging few days at the 8th International Mobility and Transportation Congress in Bogotá, Colombia.

The conference, organized by Transmilenio S.A in alliance with Corferias, is a specialized event that hosted transit agencies, policy makers, academics and tech starts-ups that are revolutionizing the urban mobility space. The aim of the conference was to gather mobility experts to discuss the issues in urban transit in the region and find solutions to the challenges it faces.

Moovit was invited to take part with a booth and Juan Palacio participating in the “Technological Developments at the Service of the User” panel alongside Anson Stewart, Project Lead for Analysis and Research at Conveyal (USA); Bianca Ryseck, Impact Evaluation Lead at WhereIsMyTransport (South Africa); and Juan Pablo Bocarejo, Bogotá’s Secretary of Mobility.

Palacio showcased Moovit’s Smart Transit Suite and how it is designed to help cities and transit agencies shape the future of urban mobility through its Moovit Real-Time Solution, Moovit Urban Mobility Analytics and the Mobility as a Service platform.
