On March 24, tens of thousands of school children and their parents are expected to participate in March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C. and 800 other cities around the world. Moovit will be there to help them manage their transit.

March for Our Lives is a grassroots-led protest to demand an end to gun violence and mass shootings and to ensure safety in schools becomes a priority.

With large crowds gathering and marching, there will be both scheduled and unscheduled transit changes. Moovit wants to ensure a smooth journey to and from the Marches.

Additional transit information and support will be provided in Washington, D.C.,New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston where the March for Our Lives will create the most transit changes.

Users of Moovit’s transit app in these cities will receive information about the March straight to their phone, as well as be able to find the March icons on the map to make it easy to find the route. Remember to check Service Alerts before leaving the house.

Users can also type in “March for Our Lives” in the search bar to pull up the starting location of the March.
