This morning during South Summit 2019 in Madrid, we announced a strategic partnership with Wondo, owned by Ferrovial. Nir Erez, our co-founder and CEO, joined Ion Cuervas-Mons, Wondo’s CEO on stage to discuss the future of urban mobility, the concept of mobility as a service (MaaS) and the specifics of the partnership.

Following his appearance on stage, Nir spent some time at the Wondo booth. He spoke with the press and met attendees of the conference and demonstrated the new and improved version of Moovit integrated with Wondo services and tickets.

As part of our collaboration with Wondo we integrated a range of mobility services offered by Wondo partners into Moovit. Those include car-sharing, bike-sharing, kick-Scooters and e-scooters. Moovit users will be able to purchase Wondo Tickets that can be used to pay and ride any of these mobility services. And the best part – Wondo rewards program. As users purchase more Wondo Tickets, they accumulate discounts and gifts.

Now, the citizens of Madrid can enjoy the most comprehensive mobility app – with information, guidance, and payment. In the future we plan to expand the service to other Spanish cities – Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla and Bilbao and Lisbon and Porto in Portugal.
