Moovit 2020 Awards - GovTech 100, Transport Ticketing & Smart 50

Published: February 20, 2020

Moovit is excited to announce three recent awards we’ve been honored to receive in the first quarter of 2020. Our mission is to change the future of urban mobility, and being recognized by these awards lets us know we’re on the right path.

GovTech 100 2020

First, Moovit was recognized as one of the GovTech 100, an annual list of the top 100 companies moving the needle in the public sector compiled by Government Technology magazine. Now in its fifth year, the GovTech 100 recognizes the top 100 companies focused on, making a difference in, and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States.

Smart 50 Award

Last but certainly not least, we were thrilled to be recognized as part of the Smart 50 for Smart Mobility. The Smart 50 award is given annually to the most innovative and influential smart city projects around the world. Moovit won for our We.Ride project, an on-demand transit solution for high-tech employees in Kfar Saba, Israel. We.Ride offers info on the best ways to get to work, including taking multimodal routes, with ride-booking and prepayment.

Transport Ticketing

Moovit’s TimePro solution took home the gold in Transport Ticketing’s Real-Time Passenger Information Implementation of the Year Awards. The award judges said that Moovit’s TimePro is “innovative for taking the technology out of the vehicle, and integrates customer and business solutions” and described the scale of deployment as “impressive.”
