Moovit Board member and Waze co-founder Uri Levine appeared on Brazil’s Conversa Com Bial show on Globo TV earlier this week. He spoke about entrepreneurship and urban mobility, as well as shared his learnings about working on successful startups.
View the YouTube clip, at the 10:42 mark where he begins speaking about urban mobility and at 15:08, he speaks about Moovit, revealing Moovit is growing its user base faster than Waze as more people use public transit than drive cars. (The world has eight billion people and only one billion cars.)
When speaking about entrepreneurship, Levine advises that the most successful entrepreneurs don’t take anything for granted and always ask the difficult questions. They also have an open attitude towards change.
As part of Moovit’s recent Series D fundraising announcement in February 2018, Professor Amnon Shashua, Senior Vice President of Intel and CEO / CTO of Mobileye joined Moovit’s Board of Directors as an observer. Including Moovit’s own Co-founder and CEO Nir Erez and Uri Levine, Moovit is proud to have three of the leading thought-leaders and entrepreneurs in the urban mobility space on the same board.
